Fat Free Black Bean Brownie

Got these from my daughter who got them from her friend. They are totally awesome and you cannot taste the black beans in them.


1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 cups sugar
1 1/4 c cocoa
1 cup nuts (optional)
1 15oz can black beans
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 inch pan.

Mix dry ingredients. Rinse beans then return to can. Fill can with water. Puree beans with water in blender or food processor. Mix beans, dry ingredients, vanilla and one cup water. Bake 25-35 minutes or until sides pull away from pan.

You cannot taste the beans. These could be good with ice cream and chocolate sauce.
