My 8 year old is now officially 9! The major gift request this year was Legos Special Agent sets. He said he woke up at 4:30 am, 5:30 am, 6:30 am and finally 7 am. (He's not allowed to come downstairs until 7 am). He was obviously excited and had put together the entire set before we left for church at 8:20.
He also requested a Cookie cake. Very easy this year. I just took premade tollhouse cookie dough and spread it in a round cake pan -- made two and we'll put ice cream between the layers. Yummy!
My PipingHotPapers shop is doing well. The wedding orders are coming in and I have great new items in the shop:
mainly mirrors, bottle openers and key chains. My latest favorite is the bottle opener with Alice holding her vial labeled "drink me."Off now to have fun and celebrate my kid's next year of life!
