Remember...

I remember what it was like to have little kids. But I sure didn't have Etsy when they were small:

I remember when I liked to sew - but now I have Etsy:

I remember smelling fresh and clean - I still do:

I could shop all day and never buy everything I want.

Collaborating with cindyg

In the midst of the kids squabbling, my husband out of the country for 2 1/2 weeks and wishing I had something to do so I don't get bored, I find that I can look at the beautiful artwork of cindyg and relax to some degree.

I think it's one of those things I'll never have - the ability to create beauty at this level. I can't even name this pendant -- I'm at loss for words. Suggestions are welcome. Maybe I'll go directly to cindy's shop and see what she named this original work of art.

Even though I haven't personally met Cindy, she has become special when we visit with each other via Etsy.

Perhaps one of these days, I'll be able to visit all the friends, someday, somewhere!

Soleilgirl - Frolicking in Felt

I finally caved in and bought my first felt brooch (or pin as others would say). Can't wait to see it! Soleilgirl has a beautiful shop and wonderful tastes when curating Treasuries (and not only because I was in one that was featured on the front page of Etsy today!).

She also has a sunny and cheerful disposition which attracts those of us with the winter doldrums. Hope you visit her shop soon -- everything is handmade. In fact, I even read she sews everything by hand -- no sewing machines allowed!
