More People I Would Like to Meet in Real Life

Corinna of Piddix is one busy computer lady. I hesitated putting Corinna here because I didn't want to give my source away for all my collage sheets.

Hi Cassie and Karen of thebrickkiln -- you're killing me!!

Sarah of SarahJohnAfana getting married in Hawaii!

photo courtesy of Sarah -- she sent this one to me! :-)

Cindy of cindyg has been a friend forever (well at least a couple of years, but in Etsy time that is forever!). We don't talk much anymore because her baby girl (who is over one year old now) takes up a lot of her time.

photo courtesy of Cindy -- she sent it to me a loooooong time ago!

Pegg of fiveforty decided to step out of the picture. Were you ever there Pegg??

Wednesday Wonders

I love summers, but sometimes I think I may waste too much time on the computer. I really need to spend more time with my kids -- yes yes!! But after I post on this blog. You won't be disappointed with the wonderful Etsy sellers who featured me in their treasuries.

mamachee (Tara) is the head honcho on a new Team that I'm involved in. It's called TeamTreasury and all we do is make treasuries and feature 6-12 team members at least once a month. It's by invitation only, but if you are interested in joining contact me or Tara. We are trying to limit members to two per main category on Etsy.

Anything look familiar here? Well, maybe. But all these items are super cool! Check out Tara's shop. She a lot of patterns, too!

LiciaBeads created a wonderful treasury featuring one of my mini notebooks. Beautiful wankypanks treasury! :-)

Don't you just love that TP pendant??? LiciaBeads has some great jewelry!!

________________

Another team member is LinenMe. She included my floppy disk notebook in her colorful treasury!

Beautiful linen items can be found in LinenMe's shop!

TheBrickKiln was giving garden tours the other day and included me!! Woo Hoo!!

There's always new items in Karen and Cassie's shop. You Rock, girls!!

In Memory Of...

This posting is in memory of Beth's (junkyardgypsy) mom, who recently passed away. Beth has been away from for awhile, but I wanted to showcase her shop because she did make a treasury featuring PipingHotPapers and I've been waiting for her to reopen. I hope you have only sweet memories of your mom, Beth. I've been thinking and praying for you during this time of loss.

Beth has a so-weet shop of vintage finds! Check it out if you want to stroll down memory lane (if you're old enough to remember), or to taste a bit of history.

Flipflop Weather hit the spot for me -- just before summer hits full force. RedChair is known for her superb treasury making skills and this is no exception! Ha - I even got a screen shot in the midst of someone clicking on her items!

Heidi, oh Heidi. Look at that fool's gold necklace! You could've fooled me!

Green Grass Grows right along with that flip flop weather. Tinahdee sure made a beautiful summer inspired treasury!

Woah! These rings are wonderful and inticing and lovely and more!! You need to visit tinahdee's shop right now!!

I LOVE WHIMSICAL COLORS by ixela! I used to be full of whimsy, but I think it left me recently.

Ale creates the most gorgeous neck wraps, shrugs, etc. She also has a fun car necklace in her shop! If that ain't whimsical, I don't know what is!

These Make Me Smile -- and I truly did when I was included in this treasury by SarahJohnAfana! Trival Pursuit anyone?

My California Girl-friend is going to lull me to sleep with these very contemplative pieces of artwork!!

Hope you're feeling better Beth! Too bad we live so far apart - I would visit over a cup of coffee with you!

Who Are We Really??

I was listening to a speaker on my CD today and he was talking about the masks we wear -- not the literal ones, but what we show the outside world. We are afraid to reveal our true selves sometimes so we put on a happy face or don't admit when we fail, or hurt or are angry.

Yes, and I, too, wear masks sometimes. I can only imagine what the people are like who create these wonderful treasuries. I sometimes have a conversation with each of them and a little bit more is revealed about their lives, but not always enough to really "know" that person. And I'm sure they think the same about me. I sometimes wonder if I would be friends with any of these Etsy sellers if they lived next door to me. If we would get together for coffee or lunch or hang out together on the weekends.

Well, enough philosophizing, and now to the fun part....I'm Yearning for a wonderful summer this year. I'm Yearning for a good meal on my wedding anniversary on Tuesday. If anyone wants to guess how many years I've been married be my guest! Sheila at Shecological made a beautiful treasury featuring one of my post it note holders (or maybe it was a mini notebook). Whatever one it was, I think it fit very nicely. :-)

Sheila's bags would be the perfect summer accessory this year. Check out both of these below:

Vintage Brain -- where did that title come from? Oh, I see now, from sushipotparts. Us Etsy curators love the titles of some of the items we feature and anakim is no exception. I'm always trying to find catchy titles for my treasuries and this one was just peachy keen.

A little about me is seen in these gorgeous pieces by Orna. I love simple clean lines. Nothing flashy...

___________________________________________________________________________

Theresa of pixiepaper created a treasury with no name. But since we need to put something in the title box she chose ............ Who cares? I love what she's done with her treasury and my Audrey magnet looked right at home.

Aren't these embellishments just super cool? I love the colors and designs. Those coasters would also look perfect in anyone's home. Thanks Theresa for some fun stuff to see right in your shop!

Oh, lookee here - a front page treasury. I'm always liking those front pages because I usually get a sale or two from them. We all need an encouraging sales boost once in awhile. SarahJohnAfana created this fun blue and red treasury, but then again, Sarah seems like a fun type of California girl. I could hang out with her for awhile and I know she'd make me laugh and have a good time.

Now I'm pretty upset because I just bought some wonderful beach inspired cards from Sarah, but I just saw some other beachy cards in her shop. I hate it when people do that. I buy one thing and then another wonderful thing shows up right after that! Urghh!! If given the choice to live in the mountains or by the water, I would always choose the water. Now you know something else about me.

One reason I like sharing other people's shops with you is so that I don't have to talk about myself. I'm a very private kind of person and I don't want you to be disappointed if you find out who the real me is. :-)

May Love

I love May!! I mean I really love May!!! Spring is here, birds are singing, grass is green and the kids are outside playing! It's also a great month for celebrating - birthday, Mother's Day, anniversary -- all nicely spread throughout the month. I'm also loving the treasuries which featured RunAliceRun and PipingHotPapers. I love the kindness shown to me each time I see a gold star outside the treasury lists! Thanks everyone for thinking of me when creating your wondrous treasuries.

Dennice (a/k/a Fringe) made a great treasury featuring her son's new shop - Suspicious Pie. I'm so glad she included some of my owl magnets. I thought they looked great!!

Would you please take a look at some of fringe's gorgeous collection of shawls?? Beautiful!!

Okay, she's going shopping and I hope Sarah from SarahJohnAfana found just what she was looking for!! Great choices and perfect curation!! Thanks California Girl!!

I found some new cards which I will need to purchase real soon from SarahJohnAfana! I love her cards! They are the larger size so there's lots of room to write. Go visit the shop if you know what's good for you!!

Got milk? Yes, cow's, soy, goat's, rice, wait! I don't think that's what humblebea meant. What did you mean, Natalie??

So cute, so wonderful. Check out the wee gnomes and birds in Natalie's shop!

Last but not least is this gorgeous evening of romance treasury by CocoaBeans. I do love red!!

Shower/bath puff, washclothes and soaps are featured in Diana's shop.

What are you doing this weekend?? Celebrating a special day? Have fun!!!
